PAYMENT ASSISTANT

Hello, my name is Sara. I’ve been with disABLEd Workers since 2019 as a full-time Payment Assistant. Since day one of working here, everyone’s made me feel so welcome and the atmosphere here’s been nothing but friendly. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wake up excited to come to work! We’re all a team here and we all genuinely want to help those that need assistance, and it really shines through every day.

Outside of work, I’m a hobbyist artist as well as a writer, crafter, reader, and video gamer. I have one cat, Niko, that I love to spoil and pamper. (Sometimes, when I’m sitting at my desk working on something, he jumps on my lap and I don’t have a choice but to give him some love!) Having a few mental disabilities, myself, it definitely benefits me with an extra layer of understanding so I can translate it to better help those also dealing with disabilities.
